Born and raised in Dijon, France, Melanie acquired a love for cooking from her 5-star chef Father and a love for hospitality from her Mother, who spent her time caring for others' needs.  She met her husband, George, who’s family is from Columbia, South America, while working at the Tour de France in 2003, and the couple continued to travel, broadening her perspective and love of other cultures.  They cohabitated between Girona, Spain and Greenville for 15 years, and she quickly fell in love with the Greenville life, surrounding habitat, and people!  They decided to make Greenville their permanent home in 2012 and now have three children, Julia, Enzo, and Luca.  When she has free time, Melanie loves hiking, surfing on the lake, yoga, and of course, making delicious food!
